About this notice

Driver Depot Hub is an independent educational reference website. This notice explains personal information handled when you browse the site, save privacy preferences, or send us a message. We do not require an account to read the site.

Email contact@driverdepothub.com for privacy questions or requests. You can also choose Privacy request on the Contact page. If the web form is unavailable, email us directly; the form is not the only request channel.

Contact messages

The contact form collects your name, email address, selected topic, message, and acknowledgement of the privacy notice. We use this information to handle your enquiry, investigate a correction or rights concern, and reply when appropriate. Submitting a message does not subscribe you to marketing.

When the form is available, Resend transmits your message to our contact mailbox and includes your email address so we can reply. A form confirmation means the email service accepted the message for delivery; it is not a guarantee that the message has been read. If delivery cannot be confirmed, the form reports an error rather than a successful submission.

Do not send passwords, payment details, identity documents, sensitive device records, or unnecessary personal information. The website does not provide a file-upload field, technical support, device scans, or downloads.

Why we process information

We process voluntary correspondence to respond to the request you initiate. Where a legal basis is required, the form’s permission covers transmitting the information you choose to submit; handling correspondence and protecting the website serve our legitimate interests. Requests to exercise statutory rights are also handled to meet applicable legal obligations.

Optional site-managed categories depend on your choice and are off by default. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent through Cookie preferences or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal or records that must be retained for another applicable legal reason.

Local preferences and advertising tags

The site keeps a small privacy-preference record in your browser’s local storage. It records necessary, analytics, advertising, and sale/sharing choices; it is not an account, contact-message history, or advertising profile.

Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Advertising / Bing Universal Event Tracking (UET) tags are not installed in this application. Accepting optional categories records a preference; it does not activate either service. Contact messages are not sent to advertising tags.

Hosting traffic analytics

Replit provides website hosting and processes network and operational information needed to serve and protect the site. Published pages can also include Replit’s separate traffic analytics, described by Replit as approximate visitor counts, pages, referrers, countries, browsers, and devices derived from network and browser data.

Routine application request logs contain information such as the request method, route, status, and timing rather than contact-message bodies. The application also uses temporary, in-memory connection counters to limit repeated submissions. Hosting and network systems can have their own logs and retention settings.

Cookie preferences controls the site-managed choices, not independent hosting logs or hosting-level analytics. Rejecting optional categories does not prevent the basic network processing necessary to deliver a page.

Service providers and international processing

Replit hosts the website, Resend sends form messages, and the receiving mailbox service handles delivered email. The site also requests font files from Google Fonts; those requests expose network information such as your IP address and browser request details to Google. The providers’ own privacy and data-processing terms describe their handling of this information.

Provider infrastructure and email delivery can process information outside your country, including in the United States. Their published terms describe processing locations and transfer safeguards. Contact us with a question about information submitted through this website.

Following a further-reading link opens a separately operated website. Its privacy practices apply to your visit there; linking to a source does not give this website control over that source’s data handling.

How long information is kept

The application does not save contact messages in an application database. It processes the submission to validate it and send the email. Copies delivered to the contact inbox are separate from the application and are not automatically erased by a website timer.

The criteria for keeping correspondence are whether the enquiry remains open, follow-up is needed, or the record is needed for a security concern, dispute, or applicable legal obligation. These purposes, together with mailbox and provider settings, determine retention rather than a single expiry date for every message. You can request access to or deletion of correspondence by email.

Resend publishes a standard 30-day retention period for email content, metadata, delivery events, logs, and metrics on its Free, Pro, and Scale plans. Enterprise arrangements can differ. That provider policy does not delete messages already delivered to a recipient’s mailbox.

Browser preferences remain until you replace them, clear the site’s browser data, or the browser removes the record. The Data Retention page distinguishes this browser storage from email copies, temporary counters, and provider logs.

Replit documents 30-day retention for published-application logs. That log-retention period is not a promise about every hosting, analytics, security, or backup record.

Privacy choices

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: the application does not sell personal information or implement a cross-context advertising program. This describes the application, not the independent practices of linked websites.

Use Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information in any page footer or the cookie banner, then choose Confirm opt-out. This saves a browser-local opt-out and rejects optional site-managed categories. No account, email address, or contact-form submission is required.

The application recognizes a browser Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out and keeps advertising preferences off. Accept all does not override a saved sale/sharing opt-out or an active Global Privacy Control signal. Cookie preferences lets you review other choices.

Saving a preference requires JavaScript and working browser storage. The controls show a warning if a choice cannot be saved. Clearing site data removes a saved preference, but an active Global Privacy Control signal still applies.

Your rights and requests

Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of personal information, object to relevant processing, or withdraw consent. Some requests have legal exceptions; the GDPR & Data Requests page explains how to identify the information you are asking about.

Where applicable, you can complain to your competent data-protection authority. Privacy controls do not submit access or deletion requests, and exercising a privacy choice is not a condition for reading the reference content.
